“Curry”, Douglas Chris Harter:
Curry holds a bachelor and master degree and for two years minored in music at Southwestern Adventist University. As a pastor, educator, and music minister he worked in British Columbia for 10 years. For 20 years he was an educator (K-college) and professional musician. He played the Los Angeles Music Awards, B. B. Kings House of Blues, Green Fest, Orange Fest, Gay Pride Fest, the Mint, and other venues in Southern California. In Des Moines (since 2007) with Lightning Red he created and played the sound track for the documentary film “Ecoheartland”. He currently plays acoustic and electric blues, jazz, folk, bluegrass, and Gospel with Rob Lumbard and others. For 40 years he has been giving private lessons.
